With more than 30 years of Tier 1 experience in the resources sector, Grant has been instrumental in bringing many highly regarded business and major projects developments to fruition.


He has held senior leadership roles spanning strategy, planning and investment, mergers and acquisitions and major project development.


His management expertise is underpinned by his ability to establish and lead diverse, high performing teams that deliver outstanding business outcomes.

William Codd

Associate Director

With 18 years of international project development experience across Australia, Ireland, Africa and the Middle East, William has held roles across the full project lifecycle—from shaping to delivery—of complex resources, energy and infrastructure projects.


William establishes and leads diverse, high-performing teams in challenging environments. He is able to operate confidently at both executive and operational levels. He combines technical rigour with commercial acumen across corporate strategy, project development, partnerships, and government engagement.

Gavin Price

Principal Consultant

Gavin Price has over 35 years’ experience across the minerals and chemical processing sectors having held senior management and Executive roles in Environment and Sustainability related disciplines.


Gavin is experienced in navigating changing environmental and social expectations. He has brought about internal change and represented companies to successfully navigate complex and difficult regulatory reforms that have included land use conflict, air quality, community health, marine impacts, biodiversity and water.


Gavin’s extensive work with Governments, NGO’s and Communities has been recognised with global awards for excellence in HSEC.


Joe Templeton

Knight – Principal Consultant

Joe has over 35 years’ experience in the global resources sector having held senior management and Executive roles in geology, geoscience, orebody knowledge and mineral exploration.


He has worked on global assignments across many commodities including Copper - Gold, Lead-Zinc-Silver and Nickel Sulphides and Iron Ore in Australia, South America, India and West Africa.


Joe’s strengths include a deep and personal leadership commitment to health, safety, environmental and social performance.

Major Project Shaping

The value of high-quality project front-end loading is well understood but often poorly done and still too many major projects don’t achieve their objectives.


With the best of intentions, a client found they were ‘picking winners’ that struggled to navigate the scrutiny of the clients rigorous investment process.


We ran an efficient and engaging process with study, business and leadership teams that framed / reframed five major projects to build confidence that the projects that advance will maximise value in the clients operating context.
